The SafeCam Program is a public safety initiative by the Miami Gardens Police Department in partnership with community stakeholders. The program aims to enhance security by allowing the police department to access private security cameras that monitor public areas. This access enables the police to observe, interdict, and obtain visual video documentation of illegal activities, thereby improving the safety and enjoyment of public spaces within Miami Gardens.

HNL Corp is proud to be one of the five selected vendors for the Miami Gardens Police Department’s SafeCam Program. As part of this initiative, we are working with business owners to install security camera systems around their buildings. This program aims to enhance public safety by allowing the police department to access these private security cameras, which allows them to monitor public areas.

System Setup: HNL Corp will be responsible for installing and configuring security camera systems at various locations as specified by the Miami Gardens Police Department.

Connectivity: Establishing a secure connection for the cameras, ensuring they are accessible via a dedicated URL or IP address.

Compliance: Ensuring all installed cameras comply with the program’s requirements, including only monitoring public areas and providing necessary access credentials to the police department.

Key Responsibilities

Installation: Deploying compatible security cameras at designated sites. locations.

Configuration: Setting up the cameras with static IP addresses and assigning appropriate ports for direct access.

Integration: Providing the Miami Gardens Police Department with the static IP addresses, ports, usernames, and passwords for the cameras.

Support: Providing ongoing technical support to ensure seamless operations and connectivity of the cameras for the police department.

Scope of Work: HNL Corp will conduct an on-site review to assess the scope of work.

If any additional costs are identified, HNL Corp will notify the customer beforehand to ensure transparency and approval.
